My Journey of Business Growth and Empowering Latino Entrepreneurs

As a passionate publicist and entrepreneur, I embarked on a new journey 10 years ago when I migrated to the United States. My story is one of resilience, vision, and unwavering commitment to empower fellow Latino entrepreneurs.
It all began with a simple yet profound desire—to practice my profession in a new land. However, I soon discovered a deeper purpose. I saw an opportunity not only to pursue my own entrepreneurial dreams but also to support and guide others on similar paths. Thus, ADV Creative Group was born—a beacon of creativity, innovation, and community.
To continue, my quest for knowledge and guidance led me to the Interise program—which I see as an invaluable resource for aspiring entrepreneurs. It provided me with the roadmap to success in this country, guiding me through the steps necessary for growth and positioning my business. I did not know at the beginning that it would not only impact me but a whole community of entrepreneurs that grew around ADV throughout time.
The Interise StreetWise MBA program proved to be transformative. I gained instrumental insights into the American market, strategic planning, and honed my business acumen. With newfound clarity and direction, I did not only expand my small business but also embarked on a mission to uplift my community through DreamERES, a nonprofit that works to inspire, connect, and boost the entrepreneurial journey of other Latinos in the United States.
After the program, I can say that I am now equipped with the tools to scale my business and the network that allows me to collaborate with other small business owners. In fact, I was able to help others to navigate the complexities of entrepreneurship after migrating to the U.S. by helping with language barriers and sharing valuable resources and services available for us. Since 2021, I was able to organize one big Latino entrepreneurship event that welcomed our network of over 200 Latino entrepreneurs, with the objective of empowering and guiding them toward success and prosperity with education, resources, and professional guidance.
The impact of the Interise program became evident in tangible ways. I witnessed growth in my business, fostered collaborations, and created opportunities for others.
Last year, I won Interise’s Pitch Competition for Growth 2023. This was a pivotal moment. I applied last minute with my team. We were looking for opportunities to grow and once again Interise was a big ally.
The $10,000 prize enabled ADV to acquire machinery and expand production capabilities, emphasizing uniform production through the development of a social project that seeks to support home-based heads of household entrepreneurs in garment customization. Giving them not only professional training but the opportunity to start and/or grow their businesses with better quality and service.
I applied the knowledge and tools from the program to plan and execute our social project, enriching both our business and community. We are looking to scale the business while generating meaningful alliances that uplift us all. We are working toward growing together!

Further, after all the impact that Interise had on my personal and business growth, I extend a heartfelt invitation to entrepreneurs and small business owners to embrace education and seize the opportunities provided by Interise. Education is the key to expanding your vision and impact, especially if you are a minority small business owner. I believe that through Interise, entrepreneurs can chart new horizons, broaden their markets, and make a lasting difference in their communities.

As I continue to pave the way for others as well, I want this commitment to serve as an inspiration to all who dare to dream and aspire for greatness.
